Hear it in the voice of the duduk
The duduk is a traditional Armenian folk instrument with a warm, soft, slightly muted sound and a velvety timbre. Its Armenian name, tsiranapogh (ծիրանափող), means ‘apricot pipe’.
Duduk music was proclaimed a UNESCO masterpiece in 2005 and inscribed on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2008.

Made from Karabakh cane, the reed has three parts: the reed itself, the regulator and the cap. Its sides are reinforced with fine leather to help prevent cracking. The master’s reeds produce a velvety sound.
Keep your duduk and two reeds together in the protective case. Each part has its own compartment, ready for storage and travel to lessons.
