A unique journey to the stars set to live music by the world's best duduk players. The theme of 'Universe of Duduk' is space: to immerse themselves in the music of the duduk, guests take a fascinating journey through mysterious Armenia and glimpse hidden corners of the Universe. Brilliant visuals and the magical music of the duduk create the effect of being truly present across the expanse of space.
The venue
The Great Hall of the Moscow Planetarium is the largest in Europe, with a 25-metre dome-screen and an area of 1000 m². The hall is equipped with a Carl Zeiss fibre-optic projector, which creates the effect of being fully present in space.
Headliner — Norayr Barseghyan
A master of the duduk, clarinet, shvi and zurna, an Armenian musician, composer and promoter of Armenian national music. 'The duduk, for me, is an instrument of peace,' says Norayr Barseghyan.
Organisers
The project was created by devotees of the extraordinary duduk. The organisers are Marina Selivanova and Suren Baghdasaryan, the DUDUKIST team.
