Jivan Gasparyan Jr. (born 23 October 1982 in Yerevan) is the grandson and successor of the legendary Jivan Gasparyan. From childhood he was inspired by traditional Armenian melodies performed by his grandfather; he studied music, piano and vocals at a Yerevan vocal school and the art of playing the duduk with his grandfather.

At an early age he moved to Los Angeles. He accompanied his grandfather at concerts at the Hollywood Bowl, the Kremlin Concert Hall, and in London, Poland, Italy, Russia and many other cities. In 2009 he took part in the WOMAD festival in Abu Dhabi, organised by Peter Gabriel, performing melodies from the film 'Gladiator' in a duet with his grandfather.

He has performed with musicians such as Zucchero, Andreas Vollenweider, Boris Grebenshchikov, The Alan Parsons Project, Planet X, Michael Brook and other renowned musicians from around the world.
