A master of the duduk recognised throughout the world.
Martin Kazaryan is a master of the duduk recognised throughout the world and a participant in the Moscow International Duduk Festival. He was born in 1970 in Abovyan. In 2000 he graduated from the Komitas Yerevan State Conservatory in duduk under Norayr Zhamaryan.
He worked in the State Orchestra of Folk Instruments of Armenia and in the Tatul Altunyan State Song and Dance Ensemble. Laureate of the Second International Youth Festival of Folk Performers (Tallinn, 1996) and Grand Prix winner of the Babylon Festival in Iraq (1993).
He has performed in concerts in France, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Syria, Iran and Turkey. He has released three albums: 'The Duduk Sings' (2003), 'Mother' (2006) and 'Tsirani Tsar' (2011). A participant in the first World Duduk Festival in Armenia (2012) and a regular at the Moscow Duduk Festival.
